Blessing and Cutting of the New Year’s Vassilopita (Greek Cake) of the Holy Chanters of St. Spyridon’s ChoirOn Sunday, January 7, 2018 in the Church of Saint Spyridon the Wonderworker, the New Year’s Vassilopita was blessed and cut after the Divine Liturgy for the Holy Chanters and St. Spyridon’s Choir.

The Church’s chief and Chancellor of the Holy Metropolis, Archimandrite father Ioustinos Konstantas wished to all the chanters to be blessed by God and have strength for the new year, 2018.

By the end, father Ioustinos wished them to be also blessed by Saint Spyridon in order for those who come to church to understand the holy messages and pay attention to the chants sung by the holy Chanters.
